Some of the flashrom developers and users hang out in the #flashrom channel on irc.freenode.net. If you don't have an IRC client, you can use the freenode webchat.
Here you have the chance to talk to people being involved or interested in this project. Most of the discussion is tech talk and user help.
Most people are in CET timezone, so don't give up when the channels seem very quiet for some time.
We have a very useful bot in the channel which can give precise instructions to users in case something failed or in case we want to add the board to the supported list. It is called IRC/Bot flashrom_bot and Idwer Vollering is the bot master (IRC nick idwer). Take a look at the IRC/Bot command list if you want to use it.
Questions on coreboot, OpenBIOS, firmware and related topics are welcome in #coreboot on the same server.
